I’m the photographer behind J Mitchell Photography, based in Poplarville, Mississippi. What started as a dream and a creative outlet has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined, and I’ll never stop being thankful for that. It’s been such an incredible blessing to turn my passion into a career where I get to preserve some of life’s most meaningful moments.
I’m a wife, a mother of three, and my faith in the Lord is the foundation of everything I do. I believe every season of life deserves to be remembered—from the excitement of saying “I do” to welcoming a new baby or simply capturing the beauty of everyday life. I pour my heart into every session because these aren’t just photographs—they’re memories you’ll look back on for years to come. Based in South Mississippi, I’m always happy to travel wherever your story takes us. It would truly be an honor to tell yours.
